Senior Teams

The Club enters the following teams in the local Kendal & District Tennis League:

• Men’s First in Division I

• Men’s Second in Division 2

• Ladies First in Division I

• Ladies Second in Division I

• Mixed First in Division I

• Mixed Second in Division I

The Club also enters a mixed team in the Lancaster & Morecambe Winter Veteran’s League

In 2009 the stand-out success has been the Men’s first team, who have retained their title with a new club record of 50pts. The Men’s seconds finished strong, but ended up 4pts behind winners Endmoor.

In the Ladies league, our first team finished third in Division 1, whilst our second team finished top of Division 2, with the reward of promotion.

In the Mixed Division 1, our first team had a disappointing season by recent standards, finishing second to a much stronger Windermere.  Our second team once again finished comfortably mid-table.

Jon Griffin, Club Coach, runs a popular singles Box League across the Kendal area.
